A native of Puerto Rico, Richie is a guy who owns a really, really expensive camera. He likes to point the lens at people, or the odd thing here and there, and hit the shutter a few times. He even hopes that he is creating something of quality, even thought provoking. As an 8-year veteran of the Navy music program, a former saxophonist, he became the Public Affairs Officer for the units he was involved with and covered all events he wasn’t performing in throughout the Caribbean and South Pacific for official Navy publications.
Now, he finds himself behind the camera shooting fashion and commercial-modeling work, avoiding weddings, family portraits and Bat Mitzvahs whenever possible. From covering fashion shows such as Miami Beach International Fashion Week and Jacksonville Fashion week, to published work in magazines such as Muscle & Fitness, Inked, and Jacksonville Magazine, his love of photography is something not to be underestimated, second only to a love of wittiness and sarcasm! Oh, and he likes to people watch at airports too.
